Greatest Needs Fund
The Allendale Greatest Needs Fund was established in April 2000. It is from this fund that the Board of Directors makes grant distributions to programs serving the Allendale area. During 2006, a total of $12,325 was given away in grants to various non-profit groups in Allendale from this Fund.
In October of 2001, the late John VanHuizen generously gave the Allendale Community Foundation Greatest Needs Fund 812 shares of Allendale Telephone Company stock. Because of his gift, and the gifts of others, the Greatest Needs Fund got off to a great start.
ABC Coalition Fund
(Allendale Bridging the Community) ABC Coalition was established in 2003. The objective is to provide a means of communication between the community, ABC Coalition, and the Township Board regarding community activities, resources, and programs, and to coordinate community planning.

Allendale Veterans Memorial Fund
This fund was established to fund the operaton and maintenance of the Veterans Memorial in the Allendale Community Park, commemorative flag holders and flags on veterans graves in the Allendale Cemetery, and costs associated with an annual Township sponsored Veterans Day service.
Lindsey Bakale Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Lindsey Bakale Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in loving memory of Lindsey Bakale, daughter of John and Becky Bakale, who died tragically at an early age. To honor her memory, this scholarship assists local high school graduates to further their education.
Mike Cook Fund for Fun in Education
The intent of this Fund is to support the Allendale Early Childhood Development Program of the Allendale Public Schools and to support the early education programs of the Allendale Public Schools. Mike Cook has for years supported additional "fun" and enrichment events, such as field trips to the pumpkin patch, visits to the Meijer Gardens, and Christmas Santa events for Allendale Public Schools. It is his intent that the Fund's grants be used to sustain his longtime support for these "fun" activities and to support educational enhancements such as story books, movies, educational games, field trips, ice cream and pizza parties, and other such activities that add to life enrichment for students.
Detter Scholarship Fund
Th Detter Scholarship fund distributions will be made for scholarship assistance, which may include tuition, adminisrative fees, room, board, books, and required materials related to course work.
Family Life Center of West Michigan Fund
Jim and Candy Kraker Family Fund
The Jim and Candy Kraker Family Fund was established in August of 2003 by the Kraker family in loving memory of Jim Kraker, husband and father. It is a donor advised fund and grant distribution recommendations are made by the family for improvements to the Allendale Community Park.
Love JP Fund
The Love JP Fund was established by the family in December of 2001, in loving memory of their son, Jason, who died at the age of six. The purpose of this fund is to assist high school or college students to go on mission trips.
David James Merkle Memorial Scholarship Fund
Miss Allendale Pageant Scholarship Fund
This was stablished to sustain and support the Miss Allendale Pageant.
Ellna Rotman Camp Fund
Helen Wyngarden left a bequest to provide scholarships for needy kids to attend Christ centered summer camps. She named the Fund in honor of her sister, Ellnan Rotman, who was the camp cook at Cran Hill Ranch for years. The Fund outlines specific guidelines for the selection process for the scholarships.
Sietsema Family Fund
The Sietsema Family Fund was established in December of 2003 as a Donor Advised Family Fund to make charitable, educational, benevolent, or public purpose grants.
Dr. Frank Sheridan Fund
Dr. Harold "Red" Sheridan, a local veterinarian, opened a donor advised fund in December of 2007.
TJ, Skylee Starr and Cody Memorial Fund
The TJ and Skylee Starr Sikma Memorial Fund was established as a lasting memorial to two beautiful children who both died at a very young age. This fund is used to improve the playground at the Allendale Community Park.
Herman J. Wyngarden Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Herman J. Wyngarden Scholarship Fund was established in July of 1998 in memory of Herman J. Wyngarden, longtime educator. This fund commemorates the Wyngarden's commitment to education and helps deserving students further their education beyond high school.
