Greatest Needs Fund

The Allendale Greatest Needs Fund was established in April 2000.  It is from this fund that the Board of Directors makes grant distributions to programs serving the Allendale area.  During 2006, a total of $12,325 was given away in grants to various non-profit groups in Allendale from this Fund.

In October of 2001, the late John VanHuizen generously gave the Allendale Community Foundation Greatest Needs Fund 812 shares of Allendale Telephone Company stock.  Because of his gift, and the gifts of others, the Greatest Needs Fund got off to a great start.
